There are two reasons why the Tastings app may not open. Here they are along with solutions to fix the problem:
1) Your phone's default language is not set to English. The Tastings app is currently only available in English. To update the language settings on your phone, go to General Settings, and change your language to English. Then try opening the app again. If the app still does not open, try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the app store.
2) Your phone's location services are off. You must have location services enabled to use the Tastings app. To update this setting, go into your privacy settings and make sure location services are turned on for the Tastings app. Select and toggle to turn on "While Using App". If available, toggle "Precise Location" to "on". Once that is done, try to open the app again. If this does not work, try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the app store.
