What is the difference between each type of goal?

Overproof allows managers to set goals for their teams. These goals can be activity-based, or performance-based. Below is a definition of each type of goal. 

 

Activity Tracking Goals

SALES
New Account Visit: In-person visit to a new account.
Retention Account Visit: In-person visit to a retention account.
Distributor Work-With: Traveling with the distributor to visit accounts.
Custom Sales Event: All other types of sales activities. 

TRADE MARKETING
Staff Training: Training event for the personnel of an account.
Bartender Sampling: Sampling event for bartenders.
Custom Trade Marketing Event: All other trade marketing activities, such as a bartender distillery tour, a fishing trip, etc.

CONSUMER MARKETING
Consumer Sampling: Sampling or tasting event at an on-premise account.
Store Tasting: Sampling or tasting event at an off-premise account.
Merchandising: Installation of marketing materials such as displays or promotional items.
Custom Consumer Marketing Events: All other consumer marketing events, such as a brunch event, a pool party, etc.

 

Performance Tracking Goals

SALES
Commitments: Total commitments made by accounts.
Fulfillments: Total commitments fulfilled.
New Sold Accounts: Total new accounts sold in the last 30 days.
Sold Accounts: Total sold accounts.
Volume (9LE): Volume of product sold measured in 9LE.
Volume (Cases): Volume of product sold measured in physical cases.

QUALITY OF DISTRIBUTION
New Product Placements: Total accounts that buy the product for the first time.
New Brand Placements: Total accounts that buy the brand for the first time.
